What do we do

At Zensomy, we are developing cutting edge autonomy platform that provides core intelligence for machines, enabling them to operate autonomously with minimal human intervention. Our solutions help OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and fleet owners across multiple sectors to bring safe autonomy to the market, in a shorter time.

Why do we do

Human beings carry out work by seeing things, processing them in their brains using intelligence and acting accordingly. Similarly, machines can see things using sensor like camera, use some form of intelligence and act accordingly. Our autonomy platform provides such an intelligence to machines, enabling them to operate autonomously, in order to improve safety and enhance the life of human beings by freeing them from hazardous work. We focus on critical problems across multiple industries and sectors. Farming sector is facing a heavy labor shortage due to various reasons. Mining, construction and yards pose high hazards for people working there. Moreover, sub-optimal operations in warehouses and manufacturing plants cause lot of inefficiency and monetary loss. There is one key solution to address all these problems – automation. Our solutions enable high level of automation across multiple sectors like agriculture, mining, construction and airports, addressing the fundamental problem of labor shortage, improving safety in hazardous work environment and increasing overall operation efficiency. Our software platform being highly scalable, modular and platform agnostic, adds high value to our customers by enabling them to automate their operations quickly with minimal effort.

Why Now

Of course, major questions that arise are: Aren’t there already similar technologies and companies existing in the market? How does the solutions offered by Zensomy differ from those? Yes, there are already similar existing technologies and companies, but there is still a huge gap between the availability of those technologies and their deployment and usability in real world applications. How common is the sight of tractors tilling agricultural land or harvesting crops autonomously without human involvement? Not so common. There are still a lot of occupational accidents happening daily in industries such as mining and construction. That clearly shows the fact that we need to act now! Existing solutions lack the key technological aspects that would cater for the big variance among the application domains, in terms of complexity and level of automation requirements. Additionally, many such available technologies are still in a very early stage and are not yet production ready.  Either they are not robust enough to satisfy a lot of functional and safety compliance or too complex to meet real-time constraints of safety critical systems. We at Zensomy are exactly addressing those issues.

Safety – is our utmost priority. Zensomy’s products are designed and developed right from the beginning with safety in mind. We are following a multi-path approach, ensuring high safety and targeted to meet safety standards such as ISO26262, ISO/PAS 21448.

Hybrid approach – Our unique multi-agent hybrid architecture constitutes both rule-based and AI methods working seamlessly together, enabling cutting edge performance but still maintaining modularity, offering high flexibility.

Scalability – Zensomyʼs autonomy platform can be easily scaled to meet multiple levels of complexity. For example, the platform can be used for automating tractors in agricultural fields and can also be tailored for automating trucks in mines, with very minimal extra effort.

Sensor agnostic – The selection of sensors does not affect the architecture of our software platform. The platform supports a plug and play mechanism for wide range of sensor modalities, with options to operate individually or collectively. Hardware agnostic – Our autonomy software stack can be optimised and ported to a wide range of target hardware; be it an advanced autonomy kit or production-ready electronic control unit
